ProInversión is the Peruvian State agency in charge of structuring and promoting infrastructure projects under PPP. In 2023, ProInversión celebrates 21 years contributing to close the infrastructure gap through 96 awarded PPP projects that represent investments close to US$ 28 billion in sectors such as sanitation, transportation, communications, electricity, hydrocarbons, and irrigation.
Currently, ProInversión promotes a portfolio of 55 projects in the PPP modality that, in sum, represent investment opportunities for more than US$ 15 billion and that will be awarded between October 2023 and December 2026. In addition, 18 projects are in the process of being incorporated into the portfolio which generates a continuous PPP projects pipeline.
With the objective of continuously improving the structuring and transaction of PPP projects, ProInversión has the support of private advisors who are hired through selection processes.
On 25th September 2023, ProInversión representatives will visit London to develop an infrastructure investment roadshow, co-organized with the Embassy of Peru in the United Kingdom.
On the occasion of this visit, British Expertise has organised a roundtable session that aims to generate a space for networking with UK-based consultants interested in participating in the selection processes to be called by ProInversión.
In this roundtable session, the ProInversión delegation will provide an opportunity for UK-based consultants to review the projects that will require consultants in the coming months and understand how the consultant selection processes work with ProInversión.
