BEI's sister organisation, The British Foreign Policy Group (BFPG), will provide members with a deep-dive on the key observations drawn from the recently released ‘Integrated Review Refresh 2023: Responding to a More Contested and Volatile World’.
This session will delve into what new and enduring agendas British organisations can expect to see following the refresh of the UK’s primary foreign policy strategic vision. The team will touch on the range of shifting and renewed foreign policy objectives, and consider what impacts are likely to filter down into the pertinent thematic and geographical priorities for BEI members, with a particular focus on international development, trade, climate change and education.
The British Foreign Policy Group (BFPG) is an independent, non-partisan think tank dedicated to advancing the UK’s global influence, at a crucial time in the nation’s modern history. Our core objective is to bridge the link between the domestic and international spheres – recognising that Britain’s foreign policy choices are shaped by our social, economic and democratic landscape at home. BFPG works as the connective tissue between the UK’s policy-makers, businesses, institutions, and ordinary citizens, to promote the connectivity and understanding needed to underpin Britain’s national resilience and global leadership in the 21st Century.
