Our keynote speaker for this session will be Dr Iris Soler, Associate Director at Turner & Townsend, who will be talking about links between Water and Climate. An experienced sustainability leader, Iris has worked across multiple sustainability disciplines at large utilities companies with a recent move to consultancy. With her highly engaging attitude and passion to drive sustainability, she propels improvements on environmental performance across industries to deliver increased confidence from stakeholders and value added to the company.
Iris specialises in sustainability matters including climate change adaptation and mitigation, net zero carbon programmes and behavioural change to achieve current and future challenges. Her key skill set includes programme implementation of environmental improvements across whole organisations; external assurance and reporting of performance including regulatory requirements and ESG reporting; cultural change for innovation and developing relationships with other organisations and regulators to build transparency and trusted relationships.
Iris will speak from her considerable experience in the utilities sector and explore how water links with social value and climate risk.
