Brazil – Water Delegation Roundtable

Meet a Water delegation from Brazil, including two of the main utilities (SABESP and SANEPAR) alongside the regulator (ANA) and São Paulo’s planning authority (SEMIL). The delegation is coming to London to meet with a range of UK-based stakeholders and discuss partnerships, collaboration and specific business opportunities in Brazil’s water sector.

Event details

This roundtable will provide an opportunity for knowledge sharing between UK organisations and the inbound delegation around some of Brazil's critical needs in the water sector. The delegation’s current priorities and interests include river restoration to address environmental degradation; the application of Nature-based Solutions for sustainable water management and climate resilience; optimisation efforts to balance water supply and demand; and robust standards and metrics for monitoring and evaluation. Underpinning this are efforts to embrace technology and innovation to enhance water security, improve infrastructure and support efficient resource management. 

Participants will have the opportunity to network and share their experience with members of the delegation:

  • SEMIL - Secretaria de Meio Ambiente, Infraestrutura e Logística do Estado de São Paulo 
  • SABESP - Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo 
  • SANEPAR - Companhia de Saneamento do Paraná 

Join us from 13:00 for a networking lunch, with the roundtable taking place at 14:00-15:30.
