This week we were delighted to host our second in-person Skills & Training Working group, which explored the working links between Industry providers and Skills & Training providers with an aim of enhancing collaboration.
We were joined by Arup, Crossrail International and SmartPA who shared with members of the Working Group their experience, challenges and approach in incorporating skills & training part of their supply chain. Our speakers presented us with 3 different possible approaches:
- Enterprise driven through franchise model
- Building capability on the ground by working with local communities and organisations
- National scale by involving Public sector in the creation of employment and delivery of training required
In the following months, the Working Group will continue to open channels of collaboration and partnerships between Industry providers and Skills & Training providers, as well as discussing bespoke projects tailored to international Governments.
