David works across BEI (as Executive Chair), D Group and BFPG (as Senior Adviser), drawing on his extensive senior level experience in government and business, in the UK and internationally, to help ensure that our approach to the big questions is joined up and in a language that is comprehensible to all. He has served as British Ambassador in Albania and Greece, and held senior UK Government positions in security policy, non-proliferation and export control. He has held executive roles with De La Rue plc and most recently as Executive Director of the Tata Group’s European subsidiary. He was a Director of the UK-India Business Council and is currently Chair of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce. In addition, he works a number of early-stage tech companies, as well as advising on international projects with a political dimension.
